Client Computers
· Maintain current operating system and application updates
· Install current anti-virus
· Designate a server for default user-mapped drive
· Educate end-users to use drive to ensure safety of data
· When applicable map drives for applications
· Institute back up schedule and recovery procedures
· Change passwords regularly and educate end user to importance of a difficult password and confidentiality of that password.
· Deny users permission to install programs

· Deny unused communication ports
· Determine hard drive usage and necessary space. Implement appropriate raid array when necessary and economically feasible for speed, reliability and redundancy.
· Continue to monitor hard drive usage with system tools to predict and economically justify growth
